TOA Indonesia Collaborates with Universitas Indonesia to Promote Disaster Preparedness Education from an Early Age

Disaster preparedness education is an important step in building public awareness and understanding of emergency situations. Through approaches that are easy to understand from an early age, it is hoped that a culture of disaster mitigation can grow and become part of everyday life.

As part of this commitment, TOA Indonesia collaborated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Indonesia in launching animated educational videos on disaster mitigation for elementary school students.

These educational videos introduce basic steps for responding to emergency situations such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and fires. The materials are presented through simple and easy-to-understand visual approaches to help children recognize emergency conditions and understand the actions they need to take.
